This is accomplished easily with MakeMKV and using the following steps: Place the Blu-ray disc in the reader, and then open MakeMKV. But to be sure I'd try to run makemkvcon.exe f -help', and if it starts with 'Use: sdftool', you're good. It's telling you what it can do with that drive - it can dump the firmware or flash the drive raw. looks like output from the sdftool, I would presume. any flashing flags may be specified manually Rawflash full - flashes boot loader and main firmware (caution!!!) I've attempted to do so but am getting an error that I can't find any references or help on. ![]() My drive has been identified as being available for the LibreDrive firmware upgrade. Hello, fantastic application! Registered and been using from a few months now - with great success. Calling it with "help all" will give the available commands and one small change was enough for my case. I believe you just need to a minor adjustment to the command - "flash" is the command part which the console output describes as unknown. The " eject -r" tells the system to eject the disc once ripped.Code: Select all Drive autodetect string: makemkvcon -minlength=3600 -r -decrypt -directio=true mkv disc:0 all /DVDs/MovieName/ eject -r The filename will be "title00.mkv" so make sure you're ripping to a unique folder each time. You will need to create the folder you want to rip to first. This means that it should skip any special features etc. This command will update your package list and install any available updates. To do this, open the terminal and run the following command: sudo apt update
